Supported by Jecheon City and the Jecheon Cultural Foundation, the Jecheon Happiness Harmony Orchestra will hold an autumn concert at the summit of Bibongsan Mountain on September 22, 2024, at 2:30 PM. This concert will take place with Cheongpung Lake, one of Jecheon’s top ten scenic spots, as the backdrop, offering local residents and tourists a unique opportunity to enjoy beautiful classical melodies in the pristine natural environment.

The autumn concert will feature a diverse repertoire, promising to deliver a rich and emotional musical experience for the audience. The program includes Vivaldi’s Concerto for Two Violins, Tchaikovsky’s Suite, the soundtrack from the movie La La Land, and “Beautiful Country,” a notable Korean fusion piece. Vivaldi’s composition will showcase the harmonious interplay of two violins, while Tchaikovsky’s suite will evoke a sentimental and elegant atmosphere. The La La Land soundtrack will stir familiar emotions, while “Beautiful Country” will express the essence of Korean sentiment, evoking feelings of patriotism and beauty in the audience.

The Jecheon Happiness Harmony Orchestra is an affiliated orchestra operated by the Dream High Cultural Arts Education Center, a nonprofit organization dedicated to revitalizing and popularizing local culture and the arts. Each year, the orchestra hosts concerts at various scenic locations under the theme of Jecheon’s Top Ten Scenic Views, gaining widespread appreciation for performances that harmonize with the natural beauty of Jecheon.

In 2023, the orchestra held a successful concert at Uirimji, another of Jecheon’s top ten scenic spots. The peaceful waters of Uirimji Lake combined beautifully with the orchestra’s melodies, providing the audience with an unforgettable experience. The event attracted hundreds of spectators and received widespread acclaim for the seamless fusion of classical music and Jecheon’s iconic landmarks. This year, continuing this tradition, the orchestra will perform another special concert at the summit of Bibongsan Mountain, accessible via the Cheongpung Lake Cable Car, offering once again a combination of natural beauty and musical inspiration.

This event is jointly organized by the Jecheon Happiness Harmony Orchestra and the Dream High Cultural Arts Education Center, with sponsorship from the Cheongpung Lake Cable Car Company.
